Loss And Grief
Loss itself can be traumatic, whether it be the death of a loved one, losing a sense of safety, loss of a relationship, loss of a pet, and/or significant and unexpected change(s) in life circumstances. Each loss is personal and affects everyone in different ways. An important step in the healing process is the compassionate acknowledgment of what happened and allowing the grieving process, understanding and coping with the emotional and physical manifestations of the pain.
