Whether the goal is abstinence or moderation, there is a way to recover from and overcome addiction. Therapy can help overcome the shame and guilt that go along with feeling dependent on a substance or specific behavior. If you feel substance use has become problematic in your life and want to begin exploring change, therapy can address healing life circumstances and get to the root of substance use.
